Govind Ballabh Pant High Terrestrial Zoological Park is located on the hill of “Lion’s Blackjack” about 2 km from Mal Road, behind “Lion’s Blackjack” is a dense forest on the hill. The zoo, spread over an area of   4.693 hectares, was established in 1984 with the objective of preserving and protecting the wildlife and biodiversity of the mountainous region of Uttarakhand, which was opened to the public on June 1, 1995 after almost 11 years. Snow-view is a popular tourist destination located at a height of 2270 km above sea level. It is located at a distance of 2.5 km from the city of Nainital.
