The summit of Jakhu Hill Shimla is 2,455 meters and about 200 meters above the central ridge of Shimla.

It was difficult for the British to pronounce the name, and so they started to call the waterfall Chadvik. Some people say that a scientist named Chadwick has committed suicide here, and therefore, it is said to be such.

The nearest airport is at Bhuntar, located approximately 50 kilometres away from Manali. Domestic flights connect Bhuntar with Delhi and Chandigarh.

Due to Manali being a Hills area, there is no railway track or airport, passengers have to take air service to Delhi or Chandigarh and after that passanger can take a Car or Bus to reach Manali.

How to reach Manali by bus

The bus journey from Delhi to Manali is 550 kilometers, from Chandigarh to Manali is 280 kilometers, arriving by bus from Manali is a pleasant journey because the view of the hills and greenery is on your way during the bus journey. Let’s see what will thrill you.
