He rebelled after seeing Razia’s love affair with his slave, but Razia married Raja of Bathinda after the death of Razia’s slave lover and they were both killed by a gang of looters near Kaithal. In 1253, the fort of Bathinda was taken over by Razia’s brother Sultan Masirudin Muhammed Sherkhan. He also undertook the reconstruction of the fort.
