Maitri Bagh Durg tourist places
Maitri Bagh zoo is located in Bhilai town of Durg district of Chhattisgarh. Maitri Bagh is located about 9 km from Bilaspur district. Maitri Bagh This is a zoo operated by Bhilai Steel Plant.
The Friendship Garden was built in 1972. The main attraction of the zoo is the cages and animals and species of indigenous and foreign birds.
Bhilai city is famous not only in India but all over the world because of Bhilai Steel Plant. Bhilai Steel Plant (SAIL) is one of the largest steel plants and steel is supplied from all over the world.
It is famous for it, Maitri Bagh has lake, tow train etc. Located on the island in the artificial lake of Maitri Bagh, the musical fountain exhibits a dynamic view of water that responds to the melody of the music as it swings with music.
Maitri garden canteen is also available where good food arrangements are made. Birds found in this park include parrot, love bird, sparrow, mountain myna and many birds.

Tandula Dam is about 2 to 3 km from Balod. This dam is situated on the banks of Tandula River and is 60 km from Bhilai. This dam is the largest third reservoir in Chhattisgarh.

Parshwanath is a historical pilgrimage center of Jainism and it is located in the village of Nagpura on the west bank of the river Shivnath.
It is a very ancient attractive and miraculous idol of Lord Uvasagagharam. This temple was built in 1995. The idol of Parshvanath is black in color.
There is an umbrella of 7 fur above the head of this idol. The center of attraction of this pilgrimage center is its 30 feet high gate, on top of which a statue of Parshvanath is built.
This pilgrimage site is made of marble, which is set in Tinduk Udhayan with the revered hands of Acharya Keshi Swami. It is believed that Dharmendra and Padmavati took this idol of Lord Parshvanath to Devaloka.
On the full moon day, a large number of tourists visit the Sri Uwasagagharam lateral shrine. You can see two elephants worshiping the idol.
The idol rests on four pillars, which have four important elements, which signify wisdom, introspection, good conduct and austerity. And a beautiful garden is also available.

Uvsagram Parasawa shrine is located in Nagpura village in the state of Chhattisgarh. It is a Jain pilgrimage site located on the banks of river Shevnath. Nagpura is about 15 km from the district.
It was built in 1995. This temple of Parasnathji is historic and amazingly beautiful. It is made of white marble. One of the oldest Jain Dasharathas of Lord Sri Parshwanath. It was recently remodeled 25 years ago by Sri Rajyasuri MS.
