In the range of Sahyadris mountain and approx 9 km from Lonavala, Manaranjan Fort gives a special effect to the tourists. This fort, about 25 km east of Lonavla, in the Pune district of Maharashtra, is about 3050 ft high above sea level. Gadala is surrounded by four sides. Located in Pune district near to Lonavala at Maharashtra on an important ancient trade route running from the Arabian Sea eastward into the Deccan Plateau.
