Tuirihiau Falls, Mizoram tourist places

It is situated on the way to Lunglei after Thenzawl, Tuirihiau waterfall is one of the special kind of waterfall in Mizoram.

The place is famous among tourists and local travelers. The natural waterfalls and rivers in this place are worth to see in once in a lifetime. The special attraction of the Fall is that one can get inside the cave and see the waterfall from both sides that is from inner side and from outer side.

This placed is natural wonders, everything you saw there was made by mother nature, the sound of the waterfall, the smell of the forest, are still exists in this area.

This is a nice waterfall about 20ft high. Behind the waterfall there is a cave where one can enjoy the view and take nice pictures. However the actual place is about 8 mins walk from the parking area and it maybe slippery during monsoon.

Vantawng Falls, Mizoram tourist places

The Vantawng Falls or Vantawng Khawhthla is situated 5 kilometres from Thenzawl in Serchhip district in the Indian state of Mizoram.

It is highest water Fall in Mizoram with 751 ft height and and the 13th highest in the country. It is  one of the famous tourist spot in Mizoram. And at a distance of 140 km from the state capital Aizwal.

It is a two-tiered waterfall and one can reach here by taking a taxi or any other public transport.

Vantawng falls are the pride of Mizoram and one of its prime attractions. It is fun to walk down till the river and explore the real beauty of the Vantawng-Fall.

There is an old-route but in some areas you have to find your own track.

K.V. Paradise, Mizoram tourist places

The KV Paradise is a memorial building which lies on the west side of Durtlang hill, an outskirt of Aizawl.

The memorial building is made by Pu K. Chhawnṭhuama, (K which stands for Khawlhring clan) for her wife Lalsangpuii Varte, who passed away in a car accident in 2001.

It was built to show the real love and in remembrance of her wife. The name KV stands for Khawlhring and Varte.

The beautiful mausoleum is spacious and have a great view of Aizawl city on the east side. The building is of three storey’s. On the ground floor stand a huge photo of the wife and the wedding photos of the couples.

The 2nd floor has a cabinet display of her clothes, including which she wears at the time of the accident. The third floor is a prayer room for the visitors.

You have to go through around 40 steps to enter the place. There is free parking place. The entry ticket is Rs 10 at the time of my visit.

Solomon’s Temple, Mizoram tourist places

A recently constructed place of worship in Aizawl, Mizoram which also happens to be one of the most iconic buildings in the state. With twelve main doors opening to a hall with a capacity of upto 2000 people, it is surrounded by a nature park on all sides.

Solomon’s temple is a symbol of love for the Jesus of Nazareth. The temple is also used for holding Church on Sunday, Midnight Heralds as well as Blood Donation Camps and such by the youth organizations of Church.

Ever since it’s inauguration since 2017, it remains one of the best tourist hotspots in the state of Mizoram.

This museum was founded on 1971 and is located near Mcdonald Hill. The Mizoram Museum is located in Aizawl, which is very famous among travelers.

This museum has 5 galleries which display different things like Textile Gallery, Ethnology, History, Anthropology, Natural History, and Archeology Terrace.
