The top station got its name from the fact that it was railway station in Kundla valley. At this highest point, you can feel that the cloud is only one hand away from you. The next flower of Nilakurinji is on 2018.

The best time to go to the top station is from April to May. Top stations can easily be reached from Munnar because buses are often available from there and you can also use the cab. You can also visit Kurienjimala Sanctuary near the top station.
