Maa Bambaleswari Temple is located in Dongargarh in Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh state, India. Renowned as a major pilgrimage site of Rajnandgaon, it is situated at a distance of about 35 km from the city Rajnandgaon, it is on a hilltop of 1600 feet. This temple is called Badi Bambaleswari. Another temple at ground level, Chhoti Bambaleswari is located about 1/2 km away from the main complex of the temple.

Maa Bamleshwari Temple is very beautiful and magnificent to see. Many people from all over the world believe in God or are interested in taking a religious pilgrimage to see it. They come to visit this, it is a wonderful temple built at a height of about 500 feet above ground level. It has two ways to climb from the hill to the temple, first is the ropeway which charges 100 rupees per person to go and return, and second, we can go up the middle step.
