Ram Jhula is known as a major site of Rishikesh. This place is located at a distance of 3 km from Muni cultivation. Here an iron bridge has been constructed over the river Ganges. And the vehicle also starts coming on it. This bridge is bigger than the Laxman Jhula which connects Swargashram with Shivanand Ashram, it seems to be swinging when people walk on the Ram swing. A panoramic view of the Ganga flowing down from the top of the Ram swing can be enjoyed.

Bhootnath Temple is one of the two main temples of Bhootnath group. This temple made of sandstone is very popular among the devotees of Lord Shiva who are worshiped here in Bhootnath Avatar. Bhootnath means “God of souls”. The open pavilion (chamber or veranda) spreads to the lake, which reminds tourists of eastern South Indian Dravidian or North Indian city style. The credit for building this temple and inner pavilion goes to Badami Chalukyas who constructed it in the 7th century whereas Kalyani Chalukyas constructed the outer pavilions in front of the Badami Kund in the 11th century. Jain paintings and incarnations of Lord Vishnu have been carved on the rocks behind the temple which are still visible today. This temple was constructed in the 5th century on the eastern side of Agastya lake on top of a small hill; This temple is located in front of the nearby fort.

Triveni Ghat is the place where there is a confluence of three holy rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. Laxman Jhula, – 5 km ahead of Rishikesh in the Indian state of Uttarakhand is a swing that connects Tapovan village in Tehri district to the leeches of Pauri district on the western bank of the river, this swing is known as Laxman Jhula. The bridge is 450 feet long. It is constructed from iron. Vehicles also pass through this swing. Laxman Jhula is one of the most prominent sites in Rishikesh. This bridge is of British era. The hammock is about 90 years old, and is a landmark of Rishikesh. It is said that Lakshmana crossed the Ganges on the ropes of jute during the construction of this bridge. Laxman Jhula was redesigned in 1939 AD. Great views are seen from the bridge.

This temple is dedicated to Lord Dev, the Hindu god of destruction, which is also called Neelkanth, because it is believed that due to drinking the artificial poison released during the ocean, his throats got blue. It is also believed that this mythological event took place on this site, hence this temple is called Neelkanth Mahadev Temple. Hundreds of devotees come to this temple in the month of Shravan (July-August). This month is considered sacred for the worship of Lord Shiva. Devotees come to this temple even on Shivratri, the popular festival that falls in the month of Phalgun of Hindu Calendar.
